Project |01 Seattle Pride

I started volunteering for Seattle Pride in 2000.  I was marketing and development manager.  In this role, I created a marketing plan to increase participation, brand awareness, donations, and revenue.  This included annual branding to be used in outreach materials.  Being elected co-chair in 2001 I lead marketing, outreach, sponsorship, and volunteer development.  From 2000 to 2004 I lead the team that increased participation by 150% year over year.  Revenue increased during the same time by 100%.  Seattle Pride went from $5000.00 in reserves to $70,000.00 in reserves in four years.

Project |02 Parkview Services

The board of Parkview Services hired me in 2011.  Parkview had seen a decrease in donations four three years.  Volunteerism had reduced by 35%.  I developed an auction in eight months that raised $80,000.00.  I researched all aspects of the market, developed a marketing and development plan, and implemented the plan.  $130,000.00 was raised in 17 months.

Project |03 Washington Homeownership Resource Center

The Washington Homeownership Resource Center (WHRC) is managed by Parkview Services.  While at Parkview the WHRC failed to produce an event that was in the planning stages.  I was asked to drive the event forward for the WHRC and market and raise funds for them.  I developed a fundraising breakfast from scratch in 30 days.  Raised $7,000.00 and put us on the map.  I designed and wire framed an interactive website to link homeowners with resources referred by the WHRC call center.
